About the show
The full hour, not the highlight reel
Live Learn Inspire started in Oslo, and the conversations go wherever the stories are. Since 2025 we’ve sat down with 30 people, from founders in Uganda to footballers, comedians and Afrobeats artists in Norway, and let them tell it properly. Where they started. What nearly stopped them. What they’d tell you now.
Live
Go after the thing. Move countries, switch careers, take the stage. The detours are part of it.
Learn
Every guest has paid for their lessons somewhere. We ask about the bad years as much as the good ones, because that’s where the useful part is.
Inspire
Not hype. Just someone who’s been where you are, showing it can be done, and how.
Founder and host
Albert Emmanuel
Albert is the founder and host of Live Learn Inspire. He started the show on a simple belief: everyone has a story worth hearing, and the best lessons usually come from people who’ve actually lived them.
So the door’s open to anyone with an inspiring, informative or educational story to share. Founder or footballer, artist or student, just starting out or decades in. Where you come from doesn’t decide whether your story matters. What you’ve lived does.
Home base is Oslo, but the show isn’t tied to one city. Albert is happy to sit down with guests wherever they are in the world, because good conversations don’t need a postcode.
Since early 2026 he’s been joined in the studio by co-host Serge Balole Gamwanya, who first came on as a guest to talk about chasing football from Norway to US college sport.
Albert also runs AKEMO Group AS, the Norwegian company that operates Live Learn Inspire.

How we make it
Long-form first
Most conversations run an hour or more. Clips come after, and always point back to the full episode.
No invented quotes
Anything we quote comes from the recording. Guests’ stories are theirs.
Free to watch
Every episode stays free on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Sponsored content is always labelled.
